Nobel prize laureate Malala Yousafzai joined hands with menstrual hygiene brand Always to encourage girls stay in sports.

Malala took to her Instagram and penned down how she loved to play cricket with her friends and brothers.

“But I noticed that boys would throw a slower ball to me, assuming girls were afraid to hit a fast ball. I always shouted back at them and told them to throw the ball like they would if I were a boy”, she recalled.

The activist for female education said playing sports gave her the boldness to be competitive and resilient in her fight for education cause which seems to be the primary reason Malala Yousafzai has partnered with Always to motivate other girls.

She has always been vocal about women’s rights, especially for their education.

Her partnership with a menstrual hygiene product brand remains another valiant step in her fight for the rights of women.

Earlier, the 23-year-old Oxford graduate signed a partnership with Apple Television Plus to produce content for women and children via documentaries, dramas, shows and etc.
