Maryam & Maulana Took Bilawal’s Words on Hearts

Both opposition leaders got sick after the rift between them and PPP emerged following the election of Senate Opposition Leader

After a surprise strike by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and Maryam Nawaz have suspended political activities for a week as both simultaneously got sick.

Both leaders have tested negative for coronavirus, the spokespersons of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) confirmed.

PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said Maryam Nawaz was suffering from fever and throat infection.

Meanwhile, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman fell sick and suspended his political activities as advised by his doctor.

Both opposition leaders have fallen ill right after their partner, PPP, left them midway and caused irreparable damage to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Asif Zardari Continues to Lead PML-N a Merry Dance

After the last meeting of PDM, PPP decided to take a solo flight when it refused to comply with the suggestion to resign from assemblies before long march against the government.

Last week on Saturday, Maryam Nawaz called Senate Opposition Leader Yousaf Raza Gillani ‘selected’ after he covertly got elected for the post and bypassed PML-N that was promised the seat by PDM Chief Maulana Fazal.

In response to Maryam’s accusations, Bilawal Bhutto held a press conference on Sunday in which he clarified his party’s position and advised PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz to keep patience and drink cold water and take deep breaths.

Since then, the leaders of PPP and PML-N have hit each other directly and indirectly as the latter believes that the former has had a settlement with the establishment while the former thinks its path was more prudent.

The differences between both parties are still standing tall and tensions have not thawed while leaders from both ends continue to slam the other party.
