Another audio leak of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has made headlines in which she used foul language against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
The leaked audio conversation of Maryam Nawaz was aired by ARY News in which she could be heard thrashing Asif Ali Zardari.
She vented anger and said, ‘This disgraceful man [Asif Ali Zardari] is calling the prime minister [Nawaz Sharif] a thief everywhere and does not have any shame. How can he expect us to present him a flower necklace?”
According to the report, the audio conversation of Maryam Nawaz had made at the time when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was protesting against Nawaz Sharif-led government.
The leaked audio was aired at the time when the opposition parties including PPP and PML-N expediting efforts to bring a no-confidence motion against the PTI government.
Prior to this leaked audio conversation, Maryam Nawaz had earlier compared the media houses to ‘barking dogs’ in another audiotape in which she also mentioned sending ‘tokri [basket]’ to some renowned journalists.
