For the first time, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has levelled a corruption allegations against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
After levelling the corruption allegations against the Bani Gala regime in his address to a PML-N rally in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz responded to tweet, saying that she indicated a scandal by mentioning Farah Khan’s theft in her speech.
Maryam wrote, “It is the father of all scandals. This scandal is directly linked to Bani Gala. More than Rs6 billion was earned through bribes for approving postings and transfers. Surprising evidence will come forth in the coming days. Insha-Allah!”

The PML-N VP also alleged that the national exchequer’s money is being spent to fund PTI rallies by PM Imran Khan which will face accountability soon. She added that the premier was afraid of corrupt practices’ disclosure.
She claimed that the upcoming PML-N rally will pave way for Nawaz Sharif’s return.
Maryam Nawaz has intensified political campaigns against the PTI government ahead of the voting on the no-confidence motion against PM Khan.
Maryam and Hamza Shehbaz will lead the party rallies to join ‘Mehngai Mukau March [anti-inflation march]’ in Islamabad that will be hosted by the opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
PML-N has already postponed the departure of its convoy for the long march in Islamabad ahead of the government allies’ decision on the no-trust move.
Sources said that the allies are likely to show their support in favour of the opposition parties on the no-trust move. In view of the expected political developments, PML-N has postponed the departure to Islamabad for the long march.
The PML-N had decided to depart for Islamabad from Lahore on March 26 to reach Islamabad on March 27.
The PML-N had earlier decided to depart for Islamabad on March 24 and announced that Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz will lead the convoys.
