Maryam Nawaz Should Weigh Words Before Speaking

At three instances on the same day, Maryam Nawaz made three gaffes for which she had to face humiliation on social media

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz made gaffes in a day that brought her chagrin later.

At three instances in a day, PML-N vice president made three comments for which she had to face humiliation.

During a presser in Lahore on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz responded to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s criticism in which he had said that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif was ill but eating pizza in London.

She remarked that the doctors do not forbid a heart or platelet patient to eat pizza.

However, according to medical experts, pizza is an unhealthy meal particularly for people with cardiac problems and Nawaz Sharif went under by-pass last year.

These remarks were widely criticized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters on social media.

Further, another misogynist statement was made by PML-N leader during the same presser when she said that they (Opposition) were not wearing bangles if the government goes for by-elections after en masse resignations from the opposition alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Maryam Nawaz linked wearing bangles with weakness as if the women who wear it were less , in any way, than others.
