Maryam Nawaz’s political stunts, agree with Dar angry with Miftah

Last year in August, Maryam Nawaz expressed anger over the Rs7 increase in petrol price by former finance minister Miftah Ismail But on increase of Rs35/liter by Dar, senior vice president of PML-N has observed a fast of silence

More than 24 hours have passed since the increase in petrol and diesel prices by 35 rupees per liter, but neither Maryam Nawaz nor her father Mian Nawaz Sharif has come out to condemn the increase in public grief.

This is the same Maryam Nawaz who strongly protested to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the increase of 7 rupees per liter on behalf of former finance minister Miftah Ismail.

Federal Finance Minister #IshaqDar released all Pakistanis on the day of the holiday, dropped a new petrol bomb, and even though the people were stuck in the torment of inflation, they did their best.

On August 15, 2022, Maryam Nawaz reacted strongly to the increase in the price of petrol by 6 rupees 72 paisa by the then Finance Minister Miftah Ismail and strongly condemned the decision.

Maryam Nawaz, while sharing a message on the social media website Twitter, said that “Mian Sahib strongly opposed this decision and even said that I cannot burden the public with one more penny and if the government has any compulsion. If so, I am not involved in this decision and left the meeting.”

Critics say that 24 hours have passed since Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced the increase in the prices of petroleum products, but Maryam Nawaz has kept a fast of silence. It is happening according to their will.

On Sunday, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced that the government has decided to increase the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs. And the application of these increased prices will be effective immediately.

The public has been outraged by the government’s hike in the prices of petroleum products, and they have demanded that the government withdraw the decision immediately.

All the small and big business organizations and industrialists of Pakistan have rejected the increase in the prices of petroleum products, they said that the increase will bring a new tsunami of inflation which will wash away the people affected by inflation.

On the other hand, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has termed the increase in the prices of petroleum products by Rs 35 per liter as cruelty to the people.

Imran Khan shared the message on the social media website Twitter and wrote that “It is a sign of the mismanagement of the economy by the corrupt, incompetent imported government that it has increased the prices of diesel and petrol and reduced the dollar by 33 rupees.” 262.6 has crushed the people and the salaried class. Now, with a mini-budget of 200 billion, an extraordinary inflation of 35 percent is expected due to the increase in electricity and gas prices.
