A war has begun between media tycoons in Lahore as both private news channels hurled serious allegations against the channel owners.

The private news channel, 24 News HD, owned by Mohsin Naqvi who is the founder of City News Group hurled allegations against Samaa TV owner Aleem Khan for grabbing land.
It aired TV reports against Aleem Khan, alleging that his company Vision Developers launched River Age Phase II project without getting formal approval. It added that the land was sold out at the price of Rs26 million by using the name of Vision Developers.
On the other hand, Samaa TV alleged that Mohsin Naqvi, Gohar Ejaz and SM Imran occupied a piece of land.
It further alleged that the circular registrar Asad Riaz hid the property file instead of banning the transfer of land to the Lake City project.
