Mental, physical torture: Dua Zehra’s uncle rejects her allegations

Tahir Ali Kazmi, the elder brother of Dua Zehra’s father Mehdi Ali Kazmi, rejected the allegations of the girl for facing ‘mental and physical torture’ by her parents.
Tahir Ali Kazmi said, “Violence is a big word. As far as I know my brother and sister-in-law, they would not even scold Dua Zehra.”
He rejected all the allegations levelled by his niece, saying that the residential plot which Dua Zehra keeps mentioning in her statements is already owned by his younger brother Mehdi Ali Kazmi.

For ascertaining the girl’s allegation against her parents and the alleged dispute over a residential plot between her father and uncle, News360 contacted her uncle, Tahir Ali Kazmi.

Shabbir Hussain, the senior analyst of News360 contacted Tahir Ali Kazmi to determine the facts and asked several questions.
He said, “I have a son who lives in the house of my younger brother Mehdi Ali Kazmi for educational purposes, but we have never discussed anything regarding his marriage.”
“As far as I know my brother, Mehdi Ali Kazmi used to treat his daughter very well and fulfil her wishes. He took his family on annual vacations for a Pakistan tour. At Dua’s request, he purchased a tablet for her.”
Shabbir Hussain has specially mentioned that it was the same tablet which was used by the girl to play the PUBG game and befriended Zaheer Ahmed.
While answering a question, Tahir said, “All parents will show some strictness to their children over stubbornness but it does not mean that they are torturing them.” He rejected that his sibling would subject Dua Zehra to mental or physical torture.
He said that the courage of Zehra’s parents needs to be appreciated.
