Miftah Ismail’s ‘NA-249 Campaign’ is One of a Kind!

The constituency was ruled by PTI's Faisal Vawda who bagged 35,344 votes against PML-N's Shahbaz Sharif, who received 34,626 votes

PML-N leader and owner of Candyland company, Miftah Ismail, is contesting in the by-election of Karachi’s NA-249 constituency and he is busy running a special campaign by distributing candies and pens.

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that the by-poll in the constituency will be held on April 29.

The constituency was ruled by PTI’s Faisal Vawda who bagged 35,344 votes against PML-N’s Shahbaz Sharif, who received 34,626 votes. The seat became vacant after Vawda was elected as a senator.

Miftah has been actively sharing scenes of his electioneering.

But, it is not a normal election campaign. Some of the photos are going viral where people appreciated efforts of the PML-N leader to persuade voters.

This includes candies with Miftah Ismail’s face printed on the wrapper.

And there are pens too.

The social media users are very impressed with such an innovative electioneering method and predict that the owner of Candyland has already bagged the victory in NA-249.
