The self-exiled politician and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Founder Altaf Hussain has visibly expedited efforts to return to Pakistani politics as he became active on social media to gain the attention of powerful circles and his followers.
The MQM Founder Altaf Hussain is doing whatever he can to gain the attention of powerful circles in Pakistan for providing him with an opportunity once again to join back the national politics.
Another video has surfaced in which Hussain was appealing to the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir to look into the dilapidated state of ‘millions of Muhajirs’ and him.

He urged the powerful circles to address the problems being faced by Muhajirs, the people of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) tribal areas for the betterment of Pakistan.

While talking to Dunya News London Bureau Chief Azhar Javaid, he said that he is happy to see that Punjab realised the reality today as the root of all problems is the military agencies.
He claimed that the minus-one formula was not introduced in the 2018 general elections but it was brought forward in 1992 when MQM Haqiqi led by Afaq Ahmed was launched.

He added that the Azeem Tariq faction was formed and later Pak-Sarzameen Party (PSP) and MQM Pakistan were created. He praised journalists for raising their voices to uncover the truth.

In another video, Hussain replied to a question that MQM London will not participate in any elections in Pakistan until it is granted permission to restore its political activities. He clarified that his political party was not against Pakistan and wanted to see the country as a prosperous and developed state. He also raised the slogan, Pakistan Zindabad (Long Live Pakistan).

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Founder Altaf Hussain has asked his devotees to boycott Karachi and Hyderabad Local Government (LG) polls scheduled for January 15.
In a new statement, Altaf Hussain announced to boycott the upcoming phase of LG polls in Karachi and Hyderabad scheduled by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He said that his devotees should prove their loyalty to him by boycotting the LG polls.
The announcement came at a time when Hussain is going to face a legal battle in the UK court by former MQM London central leaders claiming the ownership of seven London properties for the MQM Pakistan faction.
