ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) central leader Farogh Naseem, who had recently resigned as the federal law minister, said that his political party will stick to its decision for supporting the opposition’s no-trust move unless anything important for national interests.
Farogh Naseem, while talking to Geo News programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath yesterday, was questioned whether MQM-P will stay firm in supporting the opposition’s no-trust move or it could change the decision.
To this, Farogh Naseem replied that MQM-P is not a political party to change decisions but the political situation is changing every day and minute. He added that he thinks that MQM-P will not change its decision to vote in the favour of the no-trust move unless witnessing any unusual situation to the national interests.

To many questions, Naseem gave the answers in a careful manner. He said that MQM-P did not receive any instruction from the invisible powers and it independently took every decision regarding the current political situation.
Regarding the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Tehreek (PTI), he said that the lawmakers of the ruling party had played a key role in creating difficulties for the government.
In another question, Farogh Naseem said that he has some reservations about the PPP-MQM agreement for future political strategy but he witnessed the positive gesture of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The MQM-P leader said that he is optimistic about a positive political environment in the country in which no one would need to sign agreements after having a consensus through verbal commitments.
Yesterday, MQM-P had announced to support the opposition’s no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
