Nasreen Jalil’s alleged letter to India goes viral after being nominated as Sindh governor
An alleged letter of MQM-P central leader Nasreen Jalil has gone viral on social media in which she sought help from India to interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan.

KARACHI: After being nominated as the Sindh governor, an alleged letter of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) central leader Nasreen Jalil has gone viral on social media in which she sought help from India to interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has forwarded a summary to President Arif Alvi for the appointment of MQM-P leader Nasreen Jalil as the governor of Sindh. The development came after the MQM-P’s Rabita Committee proposed five names to PM Shehbaz Shehbaz for the Sindh governorship.
Commenting on the development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that the ‘crime minister’ nominated Nasreen Jalil as the new Sindh governor. He wrote that Jalil had written a letter to the Indian High Commission on June 18, 2015, to seek assistance against the law enforcement institutions of Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhry said that he felt the pain after witnessing the dirt returning to Karachi which was earlier cleaned up by the security institutions.

Former Pakistani diplomat, who had served as the ambassador to India, Abdul Basit wrote on Twitter, “This is extremely disturbing. Asking India for help in our internal matters was something which could never be forgotten or forgiven. Her proposed appointment as Governor is an insult to all Pakistanis. President should send the summary back to PM along with this letter.”
