Will Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari face music for giving ‘deal’ statements?

Major opposition parties, PML-N and PPP, have started giving impressions of deal with the establishment.

After a surprise defeat of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local government (LG) polls, major opposition parties including Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have started giving impressions of the deal with the establishment.

The political temperature is increasing day-by-day after one of the opposition parties, Maulana Fazlur Rehman-led Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) clinched victory despite the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) grabbing the highest numbers of votes in KP LG polls.

Just after the surprise development, PML-N and PPP have expedited political activities to encash the electoral dent to the ruling PTI in the Centre.
