LONDON: Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who was declared absconding in various corruption cases, termed former chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar’s alleged audio leak a ‘divine justice’.
Nawaz Sharif shared the alleged audio leak released by Fact Focus, captioning it, “Finally! “Mr Clean” has been exposed as a corrupt and dishonest political con-man.”
The ex-premier wrote, “And the other dishonourable man who declared him ‘Sadiq&Amin’ to engineer my ouster has already been heard admitting his crime.”
Nawaz Sharif further said, “Divine justice is done, only the legal one remains to be seen & done!”

The former premier’s tweet came after a new audio leak of his daughter Maryam Nawaz had surfaced in which she was heard sending gifts to some media persons by Nawaz Sharif.
It may be noted here that the leaked audio of former CJP Mian Saqib Nisar released by Ahmad Noorani’s Fact Focus on November 21 last year turned out to be fake after its forensic analysis conducted by the leading American forensic company Primeau Forensics.
The company had said in a statement that the audio leaked by FactFocus was forensic. The pitch of the speaker in the audio was changed several times.
According to the company report, the 45-second audio noticed a change in the pitch of the sound after the first 25 seconds. Moreover, in the first part of the leaked audio, the speaker seems to be speaking from a long distance, while after 25 seconds, the tone of voice changes.
Experts from a well-known American company have so far sold more than 5,000 audio and video videos. The company has over 30 years of forensic experience. Clients of Primeau Forensics also include attorneys from well-known American companies. Premo’s clients include several other broadcasters, including CNN and AP.

In the alleged audio of Fact Focus, former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar is saying, “Unfortunately, our powerful institutions are saying that Mian Sahib should be punished, and it has been said that we have to bring Imran Khan.”
The other side of the audiotape said, “There is no case against the daughter.”
On this, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar can be heard saying, “You are absolutely right. I told my friends to do something about it, but my friends did not agree with me. Independence of Judiciary.” Will not be free.
In the alleged audiotape, Justice (Retd) Saqib Nisar is saying that although no case has been registered against Maryam Nawaz, she will still have to be punished.
Later, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar denied the clip, calling the self-attributed viral audio fake.
However, Fact Focus journalist Ahmed Noorani claimed that “the audio recording was obtained from a US company which has confirmed the authenticity of the sound.”
