Former premier Nawaz Sharif was once again seen shopping in the world’s most expensive Harrods store in London.

On one hand, the country is going through the worst floods in history, on the other hand, the PML-N leaders are busy making fun of the poor people of the country by shopping in the most expensive department stores.

After Nawaz Sharif’s photo from London’s Harrods store surfaced on social media, the question is being raised by the country’s political, social and public circles that Nawaz Sharif’s younger brother Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was spreading his hands in front of the world that the country was destroyed by floods, whereas, his elder brother is shopping in the most expensive store.

Public circles termed it as an irresponsible action of the PML-N Quaid and said that Nawaz Sharif should think that when you are reaching out to the world and asking for help for the flood-affected country and on the other hand, you are shopping at the most expensive stores which raised many eyebrows.

Social circles said that the PML-N supremo must think that when your nation is suffering from the worst floods, their properties have been submerged in water, their houses and shops have been destroyed. If so, what message are you giving to the nation by shopping in such an expensive store at such a time?

They said that there has been such a story of destruction in the country that the whole world, including the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK), is helping Pakistan, while our politicians are intoxicated with governance and do not care about the common people.

Public circles severely criticised the PML-N leadership and said that if the rulers get free time from their luxury and fighting for power, they should focus on serving the suffering humanity. If people continue to vote for them, then they themselves will be responsible for it.

It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif has been shopping at Harrods department store even before this. In 2016, when he was holding the post of prime minister and at that time, the relations between Pakistan and India were at a very dangerous level, there was a possibility that India would attack Pakistan.

In 2016, Nawaz Sharif was coming to London Pakistan from America after attending the United Nations General Assembly as the Prime Minister, during which he allegedly bought shoes at Harrods department store.

At that time, a Pakistani woman who was in the store tried to take pictures of him, so she was intimidated and threatened by Nawaz Sharif’s security staff and the camera was also taken away from her.

Remember that Harrods department store is one of the most expensive shopping malls in the world, while Harrods store has a formal dress code for entry.

Former Harrods department store owner Mohammed Al Fayed is the father of Lady Diana’s boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed. Muhammad Al-Fayed is from Egypt while his son Dodi Al-Fayed died in a car accident with Lady Diana.
