As soon as the Punjab Assembly elections are approaching, coronavirus started to rise in country. Rate of positive cases in Pakistan has reached 3%.
The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has issued new guidelines regarding the ban on masks.
In a statement issued by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on social media, it has been stated that NCOC has issued instructions in view of the increasing number of corona cases in the country.
According to NIH, the NCOC has mandated the wearing of masks in high-traffic areas, and the use of masks in hospitals and other healthcare centers has also been mandated.
NCOC has proposed to implement the new corona guidelines by April 30. According to NIH, the positive cases of corona are increasing in Pakistan and the rate of corona in the country has reached about 3%.
According to the data of NIH, 4334 corona tests were conducted in the last 24 hours across the country, out of which 129 people were confirmed to have the virus.
Meanwhile, a large number of students including the staff of the Aga Khan Hospital and University of Karachi have been affected by the coronavirus. The administration has issued an alert letter to all the staff and students in the hospital and university.
Amid the current COVID-19 disease trends across the country, NCOC recommended following guidelines for the period up to 30 April 2023.

In the text of the letter, it was said that for the past few days, coronavirus has been confirmed among the staff, teachers and students.
The hospital administration wrote in the letter that the symptoms of seasonal flu have also appeared in some people, an alert has been issued in this regard in the hospital and university, and it appears that the coronavirus is still present in our environment.
According to the hospital administration, the young and those with strong immunity are not at much risk, the elderly should take special care of their health. Besides, the Aga Khan Hospital administration has made it mandatory to wear a mask in the hospital.
The administration has directed that the staff, teachers and students of the hospital should be tested for Corona. If it has been more than 6 months since the Corona vaccine, then a booster dose should be administered.
