Exchanging views on the evolving situation in Afghanistan, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan received calls from some global leaders and netizens couldn’t resist turning the development into memes.
Three days ago, the official account of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) reached out on Twitter and shared the names of the global leaders who have contacted Imran Khan.

In the list, Prime Minister was contacted by Danish PM Mette Frederiksen, British PM Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Dutch PM Mark Rutte.
During the call, Imran Khan shared Pakistan’s perspective, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safety, security and protection of rights of all Afghans.
However, the posts by PMO were twisted and shaped into comic content by the internet users who linked them with boasting the government’s recognition in the international arena.

Pakistan’s cellular network Jazz, fictional character Mr Bean and others were also placed among those whose calls were received by the prime minister.
