Amid the Nikah ceremony of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar, a few dozen PTI supporters staged a protest outside the venue in London.

A few videos surfaced on social media showing PTI stalwarts gathered at the entrance of the venue but were outnumbered by PML-N activists who managed to mute the voices of their opponents.

On the other hand, a cab driver along with his family danced at the entrance on anti-Nawaz Sharif slogans and demanded the return of ‘looted money’.
However, a protester was disgruntled at others for not being punctual.

Notably, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Muhammad Safdar’s son tied the knot with Ayesha Saif Khan, the daughter of the former Chairman NAB Saif-ur-Rehman.
The Nikah ceremony of Junaid Safdar took place in the absence of Maryam Nawaz but the groom’s maternal grandfather Mian Nawaz Sharif attended the event.
Maryam Nawaz sent her wishes to the newly wedded couple through social media.
