The Adviser to the Chief Minister on Universities and Higher Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro remains absent from the scene as the matric exams in Sindh have come under the spotlight after the boards’ mismanagement pinnacled problems for students.
The matric exams across Sindh commenced on July 5 and on the first day, the physics paper was leaked at an examination center in Karachi and the rest of them started late at multiple centers as the papers weren’t delivered on time, reflecting the non-seriousness of the competent authorities.
After waiting for hours, the students and parents protested against the mismanagement outside the centers but the provincial adviser responsible for the situation was nowhere.
On the other hand, Board of Secondary Education of Karachi (BSEK) Chairman Ashraf Ali has taken notice of the matter and formed a committee to investigate the matter.

When reporters contacted Sindh government Spokesman Murtaza Wahab about irresponsibleness of the provincial adviser during the exams season, he surprisingly shrugged his shoulders and said he was not aware about maladministration in the centers.
Moreover, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani reacted to the matter and assured to address the issue, although the educational boards are not under his control.
