The additional district and sessions judge Ata Rabbani had reserved the verdict in the Noor Mukadam murder case after listening to the final arguments.

Legal experts have expressed surprise over the acquittal of Zahir Jaffer’s parents including Zakir Jaffer (father) and Asmat Adamjee (mother) in the murder case. They said that the parents of the prime suspect had not called the police to the crime scene despite getting aware of the sensitive situation.

The investigators had established that Zahir Jaffer parents had called Therapy Works employees to the murder scene instead of informing police officials.
