Meanwhile, China has called for the Taliban to detach themselves from terrorist groups in Afghanistan including Uyghur Muslim militant group, ISIS etc while Russia wants the Jihadi group to fulfill its promise of not threatening Central Asian states which were once part of it.

The growing violence on Afghan soil is resulting in an influx of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

There are already around 3 million documented and undocumented Afghan refugees in Pakistan and it would not host any more according to the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Since the insurgency in Afghanistan has begun, the terrorist groups have started targeting Pakistani armed forces.

An improvised explosive device (IED) blast took place in Khuda Bux Bazar near Pasni in Balochistan on Thursday.

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release that Capt Affan Masood and Sepoy Babar Zaman embraced martyrdom.

This was the second attack on Pakistani armed forces in the span of couple of days.

Two army personnel including Sepoy Hazrat Bilal and Captain Basit were martyred during a heavy exchange of fire with terrorists in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Tuesday.

Therefore, an enormous challenge lies for Pakistan in keeping all regional powers, involved in the Afghan peace process, on board so that peace and stability can be achieved in the war-torn country.
