Pakistan-India Tensions Escalate After Misadventure Attempt

Tensions escalate as Pakistan has claimed India that it is planning for a surgical strike and just awaiting the permission of whom it considers its partners.

Meanwhile, India also targeted the vehicle of United Nations (UN) observers with two of them on board in the Chirikot Sector of Line of Control (LOC).

Pakistan Armed Forces Spokesperson Major General Babar Iftikhar said that the UN vehicles could possibly be recognized distantly.

Pakistan Foreign Minister (FM) addressed an emergency presser in Dubai on Friday and warned India that Pakistan would retaliate if any misadventure was done from across the border.

He told international media that India wanted to divert attention from mass protests of farmers and warned the world that long-awaited Afghan peace process would be affected if India resorted to such a move.

FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the report of the DisInfoLab had revealed the Indian network to tarnish Pakistan’s image through fake news and information in the international community.

Further, Special Assistant to PM on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning also urged the international community to take notice of Indian intentions and said that peace was a collective effort.

In the weekly briefing by the Foreign Office, the spokesperson informed that it has learned through credible sources that India was planning to undertake a military misadventure across LOC.

The spokesperson said that Indian designs have been exposed to the world.

He added that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to defeat Indian designs.

The official recalled irrational approach is driven by Indian frustration emanating from internal unrest due to the RSS-BJP regime aimed at the subjugation of minorities.
