Its a hard and fast fact that India and Pakistan have been arch-rivals since both gained independence but now when India is in agony, Pakistan has stepped forward with its support for the neighbors and Twitter’s top trend right now is #PakistanstandswithIndia.

Coronavirus cases in India are smashing daily records while the healthcare units are running short of oxygen and helpless patients are battling to breathe.

The alarming situation in India has sprung up humanity in Pakistanis and #PakistanstandswithIndia is trending top in the country which is joined by a number of prominent personalities as well.

Actor and singer Farhan Saeed penned down few lines of prayers for the neighboring state.

“All our prayers with Indian people in these difficult times. May Allah make it easier for India and the entire world. Know that we are praying for you !”, he wrote.

Journalist Shiraz Hassan maintained that Pakistanis, despite not being able to offer anything significant, but is sending silent prayers to their Indian fellows.

“I know #Pakistan is not in a position to offer anything to #India in this pandemic but a silent message from Pakistanis to Indian fellows – #PakistanstandswithIndia is the top trend in Pakistan and you don’t often see such trends here. Om Shanti. Rab Rakha”.

Another journalist Asad Ali Toor also sent warm wishes to Indians.

Activist Usama Khilji joined the trend and commented that people from both sides have immense love for each other.

Journalist Asma Shirazi joined the bandwagon and shared a post on Twitter in connection with the trend.

Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar shared a vlog on his social media handles and urged the world to help and support India.

The federal ministers including Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, and Shah Mahmood Qureshi also tweeted in support of India.

Whereas, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, along with a number of other personalities, was moved by the support shown by Pakistani nationals.
