Pakistani Sand Artists Bring Pride to Nation

The youth are always considered an important asset of a country. Youngsters from Pakistan have been acknowledged globally for their brilliant performances in different fields. Recently, two Pakistani sand artists have set the Guinness World Record, a listing of world records of human achievements, for creating the largest sand art structure.

Babar Ali Soomro and Raja Soomro, two brothers from Dadu District of Sindh Province, have set the record of creating the world’s largest sand art in only 10 hours, bringing pride to the nation.

The competition was organized by a private company in Dubai. The two young men used some 2,735 kilograms of sand to create the largest sand painting. The sand art beautifully depicted the colors of Arab culture.

This time the Pakistani sand artists won the world’s largest sand structure award and their effort was endorsed by Guinness World Records.

Sand art is a practice of modeling colored sand into an artistic form using glass bottles, vases, or large glasses.
