The tactic that the social media pages of 24News have been using to amass clicks on the website finally caught the eyes of the users.

The practice had been followed for long and finally, Pakistanis started #Ban24News trend against it and demanded to ban the channel as the content it was resorting to divert traffic was a fly in the face of journalistic values.

They asked Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to take immediate notice against the channel.
Some users suggested to unsubscribe 24News on YouTube as a protest and to harm the channel’s ranking.
