PDM Leaders Enjoy Lavish Lunch While Workers Suffer
Kabuli pulao, qorma and many other dishes were served in the lunch hosted by Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a coalition of opposition parties in Pakistan, staged a protest in front of the Election Commission pf Pakistan (ECP) in Islamabad yesterday, before the protest a lavish lunch was held for leaders while their workers were seen feeding on street food.
It was observed that the workers were instructed to attend the protest by 11 a.m but the leaders enjoyed the grand luncheon hosted by PDM Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman till late afternoon.
The menu of the lavish lunch included kebabs, chops, tikkas, Kabuli pulao, qorma, and hot & sour soup, which was heartily enjoyed by the PDM leaders.
On the other hand, thr workers were seen having roadside food sold by vendors outside the Election Commission.
Temporary food stalls were set up outside the election commission where the hungry party workers were seen buying food items.
Party workers were seen eating meager radishes, carrots, papads, and nimco to satiate their hunger.
After the sit-ins of PTI and Awami Tehreek workers in the red zone, new stalls were set up where sweet mithai, samosas, lentils, fruits, peanuts, and dates were sold.
Temporary shops for edible items were also set up in front of the Prime Minister’s Office and
ECP.

The PDM leaders enjoyed lavish feasts but the workers of the same party were seen suffering on the roads in the cold weather, satiating their appetite with street food.
This is a sad reflection of the unfair treatment with the workers.
