As torrential rains hit Islamabad, Twitter users have started remembering the heroics of President of Pakistan Arif Alvi for rescuing stranded citizens.
Twitter users shared old photos of Arif Alvi donning a life jacket and holding a rowing oar to help out the citizens of Karachi stuck in rainwater in 2017.

After inundation, the citizens are yearning for his sight with a boat in Islamabad.

But they certainly don’t want Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in the rescue operation due to his rowing skills.
The minister had shared a clip on his Twitter handle in which he was rowing a boat in a lake.

But the video was subjected to satire as Twitter users made fun of the minister’s ability.
