PM Imran Khan begins PTI mass contact campaign from Mandi Bahauddin
He admitted that it was a mistake to allow PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif to travel abroad in the name of medical treatment.

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Prime Minister Imran Khan has begun Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) mass contact campaign from Mandi Bahauddin where he addressed a huge crowd attending the public gathering in a welcoming style.
PM Imran Khan had slammed the opposition for running propaganda against the PTI-led federal government. He admitted that it was a mistake to allow Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif to travel abroad in the name of medical treatment.
He vowed that he would not leave anyone free until they returned the looted wealth of the country.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman also came in the range of PM Khan’s criticism as he slammed him by saying that the country’s assembly is now functioning without diesel but with solar power.
Regarding the no-trust move, the premier said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was facing a money laundering reference in the courts but he kept using delaying tactics by seeking deferment after claiming to be innocent.
He added that the Supreme Court (SC) had declared him honest and righteous (sadiq and amen) in a case filed by the opposition against him.
PM Imran Khan shifts focus to Punjab LG polls
PM Khan had also censured PML-N VP Maryam Nawaz, saying that she was scared of the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case and now she was trying to scare judges.
He gave a message to the Sharif family by saying that he is fully prepared to foil any of their plan to get another NRO as they did receive in Pervez Musharaf’s tenure.
Regarding inflation, the premier gave the reasons by saying that it was a global issue due to affected supply lines post-pandemic. He added that the PTI government had reduced duties and taxes on oil to reduce the financial burden on the common man besides giving a monthly loss to the government up to Rs70 billion.

He said that the volume of exports, remittances and tax collection is at an all-time high as the country is now put on the right track by the ruling political party.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has expedited electioneering of upcoming local government (LG) polls in Punjab under the supervision of PM Imran Khan.
The first phase of Punjab LG polls will be held on May 29 in 17 districts, as per the announcement of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
PM Imran Khan had decided to lead the political campaign of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for upcoming LG polls in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) following the advice of the party parliamentarians, according to News360.
PM Imran Khan had taken the decision to lead the PTI campaign for LG polls by himself after witnessing a defeat in the first phase of KP LG elections.
After diverting all focus of the upcoming LG polls, the federal cabinet session had been deferred once again in the first week of February by the premier as he went to address a public gathering in Quetta.
On February 1, the federal cabinet session had been deferred as PM Imran Khan attended the distribution ceremony of Sehat Insaf Cards in Bahawalpur.
The member of PTI central executive committee (CEC) Farrukh Habib had unveiled the ruling party’s plan that PM Imran Khan decided to join the public movement following the wishes of the PTI lawmakers.
He had detailed that PTI will launch a nationwide mass contact campaign in which the federal government will make nationals aware of the achievements. The premier will address big public meetings across the country.
PM Khan is scheduled to address a public gathering in Quetta and Faisalabad on February 9.
Moreover, PM Imran Khan had also directed its parliamentary boards to club all matters related to upcoming LG polls and submit a complete report.
