Yesterday, a ‘key personality’ held a meeting with PM Imran Khan and asked him to step down before March 27. However, the premier rejected to tender resignation and unveiled its next strategy, said sources.

The premier had told the key personalities that he will not tender resignation from his position at any cost but continue the battle till the last minute, revealed sources.

They added that the power show in Islamabad by the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be the surprise of the premier on March 27 as Imran Khan and his cabinet set a target to gather 1 million people at the Parade Ground.

Sources added that the Islamabad power show will be the trump card of the premier in which he will expose the controversies regarding the national institutions besides giving a deadline to withdraw the no-confidence motion.

NA extraordinary session begins today with no-trust move on agenda

It was learnt that the premier will expose the evidence of corruption against some top office-bearers and announced to move to the court with a deadline to withdraw the no-confidence motion against him.

Sources told News360 that the key personalities will meet PM Khan again and try to convince him again on stepping down.

It is pertinent to mention here that the National Assembly (NA) will begin today with 15-point agenda including the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan as the treasury and opposition benches prepared strategies ahead of the voting.

The NA session is likely to be deferred by the speaker after a condolence reference of a late Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) as per tradition. However, the opposition decided not to let the government defer the session.

Sources said that a session of joint parliamentary party session will also be held at 10:00 am today in which the strategy of the NA session will be formulated.
