PM Shehbaz Sharif increased the number of federal cabinet members to 55 as he recently appointed three more special assistants.
ISLAMABAD: Despite the outcry of a severe economic crisis and bankruptcy, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif increased the number of federal cabinet members to 55 as he recently appointed three more special assistants.
A notification stated that the premier appointed three more special assistants including Shah Owais Noorani, Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan and Zafaruddin Mahmood, increasing the number of SAs to 11.
PM Sharif has already appointed four advisers, six ministers of state and 34 federal ministers.
During the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, the number of special assistants, advisers, ministers of state and federal ministers in the cabinet of former prime minister Imran Khan was 52.
