Twitter Unlikes PM’s Decision of ‘No Protocol & Security’

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is shifting premiership’s grounds with his latest announcement of withdrawing security and protocol while going to private functions but it has knocked millions of his supporters for six.

Prime minister, who has been admired for making impactful speeches and globally representing the nation with his debonair personality, has taken a step ahead in defining his school of thought to serve the nation.

Earlier, Imran Khan tweeted that he will be no longer opting for security and protocol while attending a private function.

The premier decided to save taxpayer money & avoid public inconvenience.

He added that he will revise the same facility for ministers, governors & chief ministers to minimize expenses together.

To save taxpayer money & avoid inconvenience to the public I will not be going to any private function with protocol & security. I am also reviewing protocol & security for ministers, governors & PTI CMs to decide how we can minimise expenditure & end public inconvenience.

In another tweet, the prime minister said that the cabinet will decide on a comprehensive policy in this regard next week.

The decision of Imran Khan of ‘no protocol and security’ spread like wildfire and even his supporters and opponents weren’t in favor of it. They suggested premier to continue with the tradition citing law and order situation in the country.

In this regard, singer Haroon Shahid expressed his thoughts and commented that this would be a dangerous decision for the prime minister.

In addition to it, Focal Person to Punjab Chief Minister (CM) on Digital Media, Azhar Mashwani, also endorsed the same.

While respecting the premier’s decision, he said, “Being the Chief Executive of the country, your safety is important and it shouldn’t be compromised for a few lacs”.
