PML-Q’s Moonis, Hussain Elahi come out in favour of PTI

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi’s sons, Moonis and Hussain came out openly in the favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) lawmakers in the Punjab Assembly exhibited full confidence in the CM.

Yesterday, the government and opposition spent a hectic day of political activities after the Punjab speaker and governor rejected each other’s rulings regarding the vote of confidence. The situation is still tense in Punjab as the federal ministers hinted at denotifying the Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi for not seeking the vote of confidence from the assembly.

On the other hand, Pervaiz Elahi’s sons, Moonis and Hussain, exhibited complete support to the PTI chief Imran Khan and kept responding to the federal ministers’ media statements.

Political crisis intensifies in Punjab after governor, speaker reject rulings

After Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah threatened to seal the CM House, Moonis Elahi tweeted that he has reached there and asked Sanaullah when he is arriving to seal the CM House.

After over there hours spending at the CM House, he tweeted again and said, “Rana sb @RanaSanaullahPK I am bored now. Heading home but pls do let me know when you plan to come.”

Hussain Elahi said on Twitter that all 10 PML-Q MPAs have assured complete support for Imran Khan and Pervaiz Elahi in the parliamentary party’s meeting yesterday. He added that Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) fake news regarding PML-Q MPAs will not fool anyone.

He said that the PDM leaders were talking about six MPAs but they cannot even break one of them.

Yesterday, the Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) parliamentary party expressed full confidence in Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and gave him the full authority to make decisions, according to ARY News.

Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Sajid Bhatti co-chaired the PML-Q’s parliamentary party session yesterday where they review the current political situation.

Pervaiz Elahi said that PML-Q is united and always will be. He slammed the political opponents for spreading rumours to accomplish their agenda. He added that they are firmly standing with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.

The PML-Q lawmakers said they will vote for Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi, Punjab Assembly Speaker Sibtain Khan and PA Deputy Speaker Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi in the upcoming no-trust voting.

Sajid Bhatti said that Pervaiz Elahi is our leader and ulterior motives of the propagators of differences will be failed.
