Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique tried to humiliate Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan after the premier shared some of the glimpses of the Lahore Fort after its restoration.
Lahore Fort, rebuilt in the 17th century, is located at the northern end of the walled city and spreads over an area of more than 20 hectares.
It contains 21 notable monuments representing Mughal architecture some of which date to the era of Emperor Akbar.
Adjacent to the northern boundary of the fort lies Minar-e-Pakistan and Iqbal Park.

On the subject of photos shared by PM Imran on the restoration of Lahore Fort, the former Railways Minister Saad Rafique tried grabbing credit in the basket of his party.
He recalled the PML-N era of late 90s when the Walled City of Lahore Authority, an autonomous body to run the functions of the entire city, was established.
PML-N leader added that the body is continuously working to preserve the historic place for the last 24 years with World Bank, Agha Khan Foundation, and other international donors.
