Poor Peasant Treated Like Dog By Feudal Lord
The poor farmer had lodged a complaint against Zaman Madhool for harassing his daughter
A poor peasant in a village on the outskirts of Sahiwal was humiliated by a feudal lord as he was assaulted, made to wear a dog collar, and led across the streets for lodging a complaint against the suspect.
The poor peasant Ghulam Rasool, who lives in 43-Four-L village on the outskirts of Sahiwal, had lodged a complaint with the jurisdiction police against a feudal lord Zaman Madhool for harassing his daughter.
In reaction, the suspect, accompanied by accomplices, assaulted the laborer.
The offenders put a dog collar around the victim’s neck and led him across the streets.
The peasant Ghulam Rasool was given water in a bowl which the suspect used for his pet dog and in the meantime, the feudal lord Zaman Madhool kept striking the peasant with a plank.

This is not the first exemplar where a farmer was subject to inhumane treatment by feudal lords for raising voice against them.
Such incidents of brutality have occurred multiple times in the past too and the influential feudal lords avert action due to power and political connections.
Okara police posted a tweet on its Twitter handle and informed that the perpetrator of the brutal incident has been booked and a case has been registered.
