“And my relationship with US, basically we want same dignified relations with the US like India. You know, India has a very dignified relationship with the US. India says no to the US and imported Russian oil. You know, its own public takes its priority. Similarly, I want the same relationship with the US. We want to be partnership for peace but they are occasion when we are allowed to say no.”
“You know its human’s crave to be given respect and dignity. Our relationship with the US has been master and slave relationship. We have been used like a hired gun but that I blamed my own governments more than the US. If you are willing to be used like a tissue paper then other governments will use you like that.”
When questioned about the future, the former prime minister said, “As far as I concern, It is over, you know it’s behind me. but what the US desire could not have happened without people here who actively took part in the conspiracy to get rid of me. US is not to be blamed in the sense US might have a desire that I thought of whether they don’t want a prime minister who has an independent foreign policy or a dignified foreign policy.”
