PTI Worker Held in Karachi For Molesting Teenager
The suspect used to lure young boys visiting his internet café and performed illicit activity in a room adjoining it
A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker has been arrested by Karachi police over charges of molesting a teenager. The suspect, Abdullah Siyal, was also a member of PTI Student Wing Insaf Student Federation (ISF).
The offended had allegedly forced himself upon a 15-year-old boy in the Qayyumabad area.
He also filmed the video of the lewd activity and used it for blackmailing the teenager.
Defence Police officials said that the suspects had captured his photographs with political and influential personalities that he used to threaten the victims.
The police officials told News360 that Abdullah Siyal ran an internet cafe in the Qayyumabad area.
He used to lure young boys visiting his café and performed illicit activity in a room adjoining it.
As the suspect’s illegitimate acts came to the fore, the residents of Qayyumabad caught and thrashed him blue and black.
Further, PTI MPA from the constituency, Raja Azhar, said that they handed over the suspect to the police themselves after locals complained about it.
He added that the party has no space for criminal elements, adding that they would surely take action on identification of such elements.
The political party has also shared the notification of Siyal’s suspension from the party membership issued in November 2020. PTI had ousted the official over charges of misconduct.
