Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed questioned the way Sindh government was running the affairs and declared Younus Memon as the real ruler of the province.
CJP heard a case pertaining to the construction of Nasla Tower on Karachi’s main thoroughfare Shahrah-e-Faisal on Tuesday.
He remarked that the affairs of the Sindh government are actually being run from Canada by Younus Memon.

After the courtrooms echoed with Younus Memon’s name, News360 dug to extract information about the alleged frontman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and the one who hold the reins of the ruling party of Sindh.
Younus is the business ally of Abdul Ghani Majeed who is the eldest son of Omni Group Head Anwar Majeed. He is known to have close relations with Majeed’s family.
Sources told News360 that Younus Memon has been managing and overseeing the financial affairs of PPP and the Sindh government for the past three years from Canada.
It added that three years ago, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had started preparing references against Younus Memon on charges of land grabbing when he fled to Canada.
As of now, his apparatus in Pakistan is managed by a man named Muhammad Ali, sources told News360.
It has also been claimed by the sources that he calls the tune in all affairs of the Sindh government.
Sources said that even the mapping of housing societies in Karachi is done with Memon’s approval and the same is the case with buildings.
Sources said that various important departments of the provincial government including the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) are controlled from abroad.
