The police became silent spectators and gave a free hand to the lawyers for their terrifying activity.

At some places, the daring lawyers were even seen hurling pejoratives at the policemen who tried to interfere and stop them.

The violation of law by those who are tasked to protect it is although absurd but has been overlooked for long in the country.

The governments restrict to booking the law practitioners on penal activity but they are never punished.

However, the newly-elected member of PBC Lahore Seth Zabiullah Nagra is determined to change things.

While Talking to News360, he put the onus on the law enforcement agencies and said incidents of aerial firing or arms display was failure of administration.

“Aerial firing is wrong in itself, be it done by anyone, an influential person or a common man”, Nagra said.
He said that there should be a punitive action on the violation of law to prevent occurrence of such incidents in future.
