LAHORE: Campaigning for by-elections is in full swing in 20 constituencies of Punjab in which tough competition is expected between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), whereas, the present government is working out a strategy with the administration to win the by-elections.
Punjab by-elections are going to be held on July 17 on the 20 seats vacated by deviant members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). According to survey reports, PTI’s position in the by-elections is very strong which is concerning the present government.
To win the by-elections, the Punjab government has started consultations with senior administration officials. The administration is being pressurised to rig the polls.
Muhammad Hassan Raza, an Investigative Reporter of Dunya News, has made several important revelations regarding a nexus between the Punjab government and the administration. Raza has strong sources inside bureaucracy, police and other security agencies.

Mohammad Hassan Raza further wrote that ordered to win more than a dozen seats in any case, do whatever you want. Punjab is in turmoil over the by-elections, as all the evidence is that the PTI will win all the seats except one or two. Efforts continued to be made to win these by-elections by any means.
Analysts say that the Punjab government and administration have joined hands for pre-poll rigging. Whether it is a general election or a by-election in Pakistan, there must be some involvement of those above them. Contrary to polling, the results are different. On the day of polling, polling agents and polling staff are procured.
He said that providing 100 units of electricity free to the people of Punjab was also an attempt of pre-poll rigging which was foiled by PTI.
Analysts said that PTI chairman Imran Khan is holding successful rallies in various cities of Punjab in connection with the by-elections and has decided to deploy 10 youths at each polling station to prevent rigging during the by-elections. It has been decided that if this strategy proves effective, it will not be difficult for the PTI to win the by-elections.
Analysts added that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja should have taken stern notice of the Punjab Chief Minister’s announcement and removed him from office and hold by-elections under the caretaker chief minister.
