Punjab by-elections: Ind surveys show PTI most popular party followed by PML-N

Independent survey reports showed that 52% of voters have voted in favour of PTI while 32% have been supporting PML-N.

A survey showed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) became the most popular party followed by the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the upcoming Punjab by-elections.

For getting the opinion of the voters for the Punjab by-elections, anchorperson Ajmal Jami visited PP-167 and talked to the voters.

Sharing details of his survey on Twitter, Ajmal Jami wrote, “I visited Lahore’s PP-167 constituency, where PML-N candidate Nazir Chauhan and PTI’s Shabbir Gujjar is a competitor, according to the latest survey, the weight of the PTI candidate is heavy.

According to Ajmal Jami’s poll, 43% of voters in the constituency have voted in favor of PTI while 36% have declared their favorite party, PML-N. According to 4% of voters, TLP should win the election. While 17% of voters have said that they are dissatisfied with politics, so they will not vote.

According to another survey, in PP-167, 59 per cent of people have declared PTI as their favourite party while 26 per cent of people have declared PML-N as their favourite party.

According to a poll conducted in constituency PP-158, 49 per cent of people have said that they will vote for PTI while 29 per cent of people are in favour of PML-N.

According to the survey of constituency PP-168, 42% of people have decided in favour of PML-N while 42% people have decided in favour of PTI.

According to an independent poll in constituency PP-170, 62% of the people said they would vote for PTI while 28% said they would vote for PML-N.

According to a survey of four constituencies in Lahore, 52% of the people have voted in favour of PTI while 32% of the voters have shown their inclination toward PML-N.

Commenting on the above survey, independent analysts say that voters are dissatisfied with the current PML-N government as the current rulers had overthrown Imran Khan’s government as the main cause of inflation, and claimed to control inflation.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government has made everything expensive, including petroleum products, and taxes have been imposed on the salaries of the middle class.

Analysts say the public is outraged that the Shahbaz Sharif government has made their lives even more miserable instead of providing relief.
