MPAs Nisar’s Return JKT Group

Two political occurences in Punjab are becoming the talk of town including the formation of the JKT group in Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Chaudhry Nisar’s sudden return in Punjab politics but MPAs consider it normal.

In this regard, News360 talked to the members of the assembly to find out if it were clouds on the horizon for PTI or just a normal event.

Several MPAs thought that the formation of JKT group comprising members of ruling PTI and sudden re-entry of Chaudhry Nisar was not surprising.

Moreover, PML-N MPAs including Zahid Bukhari, Mian Abdul Rauf, Saba Sadiq, Bushra Butt, Malik Mohammad Ahmed Khan, Mian Margoob Ahmed, and Mirza Javed commented that mise en abyme group was ruling party’s internal conflict.

They claimed that there has been no contact between PML-N and the new group.

Lawmakers on Chaudhry Nisar’s re-entry

The legislators commented that Nisar is a senior politician and his presence in the provincial assembly would matter.

However, many of them ruled out the possibility that he could become the new chief minister of Punjab.

But PML-N members did not openly share their views on Nisar’s return, giving rise to the question what lies next in the provincial politics.

Provincial Minister Yasir Humayun highlighted rules that re-elections should be conducted if an elected candidate doesn’t take oath within three months.

To allay concerns, JKT Group called on Punjab CM in Lahore and showed their complete confidence in him.

The delegation comprised of MPAs including Saeed Akbar Khan Nawani, Ajmal Cheema, Nauman Ahmad Langrial, Zawar Hussain Warraich, Nazeer Chauhan, Umar Aftab, and Awn Chaudhry.

The lawmakers said, “We have complete trust in your leadership. You are our chief minister and we have come to you for resolution of our issues”.

In response to it, CM Buzdar said, “We are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, and we have never been unjust to anybody and will never be. The politics of vengeance is not our thing”.

Concluding the meeting, CM assured MPAs of addressing their legitimate grievances and said, “The party’s name is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and we believe in dispensation of justice”.
