He has made massive changes in the bureaucracy after assuming the charge and notification of new deployments has also been issued.
Saima Saeed has been deployed as the special education secretary while Muhammad Shehryar Sultan has been stationed as services secretary.
Zahid Hussain has been assigned as the chief commissioner of Faisalabad while Syed Hammad Abid has been deployed as Gujranwala city police officer (CPO).

The secretaries of food, zakat, labor, and environment have also been replaced by the new chief secretary of Punjab.
