The government has expedited the preparations to open the historic Qila Bala Hisar and Qila Attock for the visitors.
On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the historic Qila Bala Hisar in Peshawar will be handed over to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.

The KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has initiated steps in this regard.
As per sources, the CM will be holding talks with Frontier Corps, a paramilitary force, to settle the issues regarding possession of the fort.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will be initiating talks with General Headquarters (GHQ) for handing over Qila Attock to the local government.
A letter has been sent to the chief secretaries by the government to keep it informed about the progress.
