A unique kind of restaurant in Umerkot in Sindh welcomes and shows hospitality to both Indians and Pakistanis and serves as a rendevous for friends across the borders.
The sui-generis restaurant attracts visitors with its vibrant indoor decoration and traditional colors.
Embellished with colors of local culture and bamboo decoration, the spot lies in a village that is just four kilometers (kms) away from Umerkot.
Set up on the border adjoining India, the unique place serves as a common dining spot for families from India and Pakistan.

While talking to News360, the restaurant owner, Thakur Jatt, said that he thought of a unique décor for the place that reflected Sindh’s tradition and culture.
“The workers from Mohenjo-Daro put their efforts and worked day and night to bring this piece into existence”, he added.
It took hard work of nearly 2 weeks to get the refined look of the restaurant with a cost of nearly 1.5 million.
