Return Becomes Political & Legal Compulsion For Nawaz Sharif

PML-N MNA Javed Latif has revealed that his party chief, Nawaz Sharif, will return to the country this year which is being seen as his political and legal compulsion.

Javed Latif appeared before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore in assets beyond means case on Thursday.

While talking to the media after proceeding, the lawmaker said Nawaz Sharif has decided to return to Pakistan as he cannot see his country in crisis.

Besides this, Latif expressed that PML-N chief is the only leader who can rescue the country.

“Nawaz Sharif will return to the country this year and will become the prime minister for 4th time”, he said.

Latif said well-wishers of Pakistan know that the country’s problems cannot go away without PML-N chief.

Contrary to the claims of the lawmaker, the political analysts say that returning to Pakistan is more of political and legal compulsion for Nawaz Sharif.

They said that Nawaz Sharif would be extremely worried about visible formation of two camps in his party.

Besides this, he must also be eyeing to mobilize masses in his support before the next general elections in 2023.

Sources have told News360 that PML-N chief has directed his party organization to prepare a schedule of the public rallies.

Background

PML-N chief is residing in London since November 2019 after he flew there on the pretext of medical treatment.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) had declared him an absconder on failing to appear before it in Avenfield and Al-Azizia cases.

In August, his application for visa extension was rejected by the UK Home Office after which he had approached the Immigration Tribunal.

PML-N chief could stay in the UK until the final decision of the tribunal on his visa extension plea.

A medical report submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC) last month stated that PML-N chief could not return yet as the doctors had barred his traveling.
