Robbers Haul Off With Sacrificial Goats of Karachi Cop

With Eid-ul-Azha nearly two weeks away, there was a robbery in Karachi in the house of a police officer where the suspects didn’t get away with cash or other valuables but six sacrificial goats.

The incident was reported from the Manzoor Colony in the jurisdiction of Baloch Colony police station after robberies of similar nature earlier reported from Gulshan-e-Maymar, SITE, Super Highway, etc.

According to the details, some unidentified robbers barged into the house of a police official, Abdullah, who lives near Jadoon Chowk in Manzoor Colony.

The robbers hauled off with six sacrificial goats collectively worth around Rs 250,000.

The closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage of the robbery also surfaced on the internet in which the faces of the suspects are visible.

Baloch Colony police buzzed to the incident site after getting information about the robbery involving sacrificial animals.

Baloch Colony Police SHO Hidayat Hussain said that the complaint is deployed at the Karachi Police Headquarters.

He added that the case of the incident has been registered and the police have launched a probe after gathering CCTV footage and other evidence.
