Ruling coalition renegades from elections of the house which has elected their govt

Analysts say in eyes of legislators, by-elections of National Assembly have no status, what better decisions can they make in favor of people

PPP has taken a principled decision not to participate in the by-elections to National Assembly seats on a proposal of its alliance partners in the National Assembly – Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Analysts say that in the eyes of the legislators, the by-elections of the National Assembly have no status, so what better decisions can they make in favor of the people?

A detailed consultation meeting of party leaders was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Nair Bukhari, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Faryal Talpur, and Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood participated in the meeting of the Parliamentary Board of the People’s Party through a video link.

In the meeting, it was decided not to participate in the by-elections, the leadership of the People’s Party will officially announce its decision in the coming days.

Sources say that People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other leaders decided not to participate in the by-elections following the footsteps of PDM.

Earlier, PPP’s position was that the field should not be left open for PTI in the by-elections. But the PDM parties did not agree to this.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) was of the view that short-term participation in these elections would be a waste of funds, energy, and time. And now, after PDM and Muslim League (N), the People’s Party has also said that they are not contesting the National Assembly elections.

Critically criticizing the decision of the People’s Party and PDM, the analysts have said that the other parties of the People’s Party and PDM, which have formed the government together, are not participating in the by-elections of the same National Assembly.

PML-G is saying that it is a waste of money and time, so brothers, don’t you waste money and time, so that you people will know how popular you are compared to Imran Khan. Now Imran Khan himself is not even standing, then something is stopping you from going to the by-elections.

Analysts further say that the assembly on which the PML-N, PP and PDM parties have formed the government, if they do not go to the by-elections, how will they serve the people.
