Senior journalist Saleem Safi apprised ANP leader that the doors of Pakistani media are open for the nationalist party.
In his show Jirga, the senior journalist invited Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan Spokesperson Suhail Shaheen.
Sharing a screenshot of the show, Awami National Party (ANP) leader Khadim Hussain lambasted the host for inviting the Taliban.

He said that Saleem Safi gave room to a militant on the national television.
ANP official complained that the anchorperson would not invite spokesperson of Afghan government nor Baloch, Pashtun and Sindhi nationalists are given the screen.

In response, the host Saleem Safi posted the agreement signed between ANP and proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Saleem Safi replied to the objection that ANP wasn’t banned on Pakistani media but nationalists like Manzoor Pashteen.
He iterated that ANP KP President Aimal Wali was also invited in the same program but he was busy.
