Scattered Rains Turn Weather Pleasant Across Country
Met Office website disclosed that spells and thunderstorms are expected in eastern areas of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir too
Light to heavy monsoon rains are happening intermittently in different parts of the country, turning the weather pleasant in many cities.
The capital of Punjab, Lahore, received scattered downpours that started yesterday morning.
As per details, more than 100 power feeders tripped in Lahore after the rainfall.

Not only this, many areas of the city were left inundated with the rescue teams working round the clock to help the citizens.
Traffic jams due to flooded roads were witnessed during and after the downpour.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains and thunderstorms in different parts of Sindh including Karachi.
The weather system is expected to stay in Karachi till Saturday.

On Wednesday, heavy rains lashed parts of KP intensifying the woes of the citizens with flooded roads, power outages and accumulation of rainwater in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Hashtnagri station in Peshawar.
After the downpour, rainwater entered the BRT terminal however, no damage to public life and property was reported.
