Students, Teachers Skip Classes to Watch Kabaddi Match

In Kamalia’s neighborhood of Punjab, Basti Khajura has a fleet of teachers who are fond of kabaddi who spend their working hours enjoying the sport.

During the Baba Jan Mohammad festival in the area, the teachers of Primary School Khajura postponed the classes to enjoy kabaddi matches.

The festival lasted 3 days and the teachers didn’t conduct a single class during this time.

The faculty reached kabaddi ground and asked the students to bring chairs from the school so they can relish the match.

Hence, the primary school remained deserted as the classes were suspended due to the festival.

During the lockdown amid pandemic, the locals said that the teachers seemingly became accustomed to enjoying themselves rather than doing their duties.
